Her latest video racked up 37,000 views as she explained how to stay safe and comfortable mid-flight.

Top of her list was a warning about public charging stations.

“It’s called juice jacking – a sneaky way hackers can access your data through public USB charging stations,” she said.

“Once connected, they can install malware or steal personal info without you even knowing.”

She also highlighted foods to avoid before boarding. Carbonated drinks and gassy vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower can make bloating worse in pressurised cabins.

“Opt for easy-to-digest snacks like bananas, white rice, or yogurt,” she advised.

When it comes to footwear, Pollyann urged passengers to ditch the flip-flops. “Don’t wear sandals on the plane,” she said.

“Closed shoes protect your feet from germs, dropped items, and spills – plus, they’re safer in emergencies.”

Other top tips included not overpacking (“If you can’t lift your carry-on into the overhead bin yourself, it’s too heavy”), being mindful of other travellers, and switching off from social media to truly enjoy the trip.

“Put the phone away sometimes,” Pollyann added. “Being present is what makes a trip special.

Skip some Instagram-suggested spots and find something that feels like your discovery.”

For summer travellers heading abroad, her message is clear: pack light, eat smart, stay alert – and savour every moment.
