A rare Ferrari signed by the supercar brand’s former chairman has gone up for sale at a staggering £850,000 – but buyers should be aware of one small catch.
The 599 GTB Fiorano, capable of hitting 208mph, was built in 2012 and has covered just 4,101 miles in its 12-year life.
The car has had only one owner and was hand-delivered personally by Ferrari’s former boss, Luca di Montezemolo, who also signed it.

The stunning model can rocket from 0 to 60mph in just 3.2 seconds, but prospective buyers have been warned there could be a delay in receiving its registration documents.
The car is being offered by RM Sotheby’s, with the sale taking place in Chobham, Surrey, on November 6, according to Hype Daily.
Described as one of the most collectible Ferraris ever made, this particular 599 GTB Fiorano is believed to be the final model equipped with a manual gearbox – making it the last manual Ferrari ever produced.

A spokesperson for the auction house said: “This is said to be the final manual gearbox-equipped 599 GTB completed by Ferrari, and therefore the last manual transmission Ferrari. It remained with a single private owner until April 2025.
Hand-delivered and signed by Luca di Montezemolo to its first and only private owner.”
The vehicle was originally built to Hong Kong specifications and comes with an impressive list of features. It also underwent a recent annual service at H.R. Owen South London in October 2025, with minimal mileage since.
“This is an unrepeatable opportunity to own one of the most significant Ferraris ever built,” the spokesperson added.
However, RM Sotheby’s has noted a small issue that potential buyers should keep in mind.

“Please note this car is currently undergoing registration in the UK. As such, there may be a delay for the successful bidder to receive the UK V5C after the sale,” the listing stated.
Despite the minor paperwork delay, the car’s rarity, manual transmission, and personal signature from Ferrari’s legendary chairman make it a true collector’s dream.
