Ex-Formula 1 driver Eddie Irvine is selling his spectacular Miami waterfront home – with a price tag of £27.6 million ($38m).

The result is a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom modern estate packed with high-end features and sweeping views of Biscayne Bay.
Among the highlights are a private office, indoor theatre, shaded cabana, and a rooftop terrace offering 360-degree views of the Miami skyline.

Outdoors, there’s a pool and expansive living space, while the property also boasts a boat lift capable of handling yachts up to 60 feet.
Sustainability has been built into the home’s design, with hurricane-resistant windows, energy-efficient systems and smart-home tech managing everything from climate to security.
Irvine, who made his F1 debut with Jordan in 1993 before moving to Ferrari, enjoyed a decorated career that included 26 podiums and four race wins.

His standout year came in 1999 when, stepping up after Michael Schumacher’s injury, he narrowly missed the world championship by just two points.
Since retiring from racing in 2002, Irvine has turned his focus to property and business.
His Miami home – listed on Zillow – is now the latest in his portfolio to hit the market, offering buyers the chance to live like a racing legend.
