A tech founder who spent his teenage years driving tractors and helping out in his father’s farm shop has unveiled an AI-powered app aimed at transforming how families eat – while helping them cut costs.
Aaron Loveman’s path to creating Tucki, a gamified AI food-tech platform, has been influenced by a lifelong connection to food and wellbeing.
From 14-hour days planting crops to watching his mum support a daughter with type one diabetes, his experiences shaped a mission that blends his background in food with more than ten years working in tech.
Now 41, Aaron graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2012 with a degree in Economics, originally hoping to enter the banking world. When the financial sector remained unstable, he shifted into sales, joining Hitachi in a junior role and eventually rising to senior leadership within the travel and transport division.
In 2024, he took a major leap and launched his first tech start-up focused on improving family and child nutrition, called The Good Food Family.

The former farmhand has now introduced Tucki, an AI-driven food app designed to help families build healthier habits, plan meals, and manage budgets through a fun and engaging approach.
The app acts as a friendly companion that tailors nutrition to each family member, encourages better routines, and offers brand rewards for continued progress. It also features a competitive leaderboard to keep families motivated together.
To find his first customers, Aaron spoke directly with more than 200 families at his father’s farm shop.
He said the aim is simple: to help families save money while developing long-lasting positive habits that support both physical and mental wellbeing.
