A family of ten have proven that teamwork truly runs in their blood – all holding jobs at the same seaside holiday park.
The Stevens family have made Torquay Holiday Park in Devon a genuine family enterprise, with parents, children, and cousins all working side by side.
Between them, they handle everything from maintenance and cleaning to catering, guest check-ins, and office work. Locals even joke that it’s impossible to visit the park without bumping into a Stevens on duty.

The family’s connection to the park stretches back several generations.
At the centre of it all is maintenance supervisor Ray Stevens, 49, and his wife Tracy, 45, who works as an assistant accommodation manager. Their daughter Courtney, 18, is currently training to become a chef at the park.
Ray’s siblings are also key members of the team – Lee, 44, assistant accommodation manager; Sally, 41, maintenance manager; and Rachel, 39, accommodation manager – all holding senior roles and helping to run day-to-day operations.
Now, the next generation is carrying on the tradition, turning the park into a two-generation powerhouse, according to Hype Daily.

Other family members include Demi, 22, who works as an accommodation supervisor and admin assistant; Harley, 18, a maintenance assistant; Harrison, 18, an accommodation cleaner; and Layla, 16, who also helps with cleaning duties.
Sisters Sally and Rachel have dedicated 24 and 23 years respectively to the park, following in the footsteps of their mother, who worked there for two decades, starting as a cleaner before becoming an accommodation supervisor.
Sally shared: “Our mum inspired us to work here. She spent 20 years at the park, beginning as a cleaner and later becoming an accommodation supervisor. When we were kids, we’d come along while she cleaned caravans, and it just became part of our lives.

“Even our aunties, uncles, and nan worked here over the years, so it always felt like home.”
Rachel added: “It’s such a wonderful feeling to work alongside your family. You’ve always got someone you can count on for help and support. We share a lot of laughs because we all have the same sense of humour.
“Being able to spend quality time together while earning a living is something really special.”
The family say working together has made their bond even stronger and created a sense of teamwork that few other workplaces can match.
General manager Paul Todd praised the family’s commitment, saying: “We’re very lucky to have such a dedicated team here at Torquay Holiday Park.
The Stevens family are a real asset to Parkdean Resorts, and it’s been fantastic watching their progress and growth over the years.”
