Harrods Mystery Bag Leaves TikToker Gagging Over £35 Quiche

London creator Carmie Sellitto’s luxury taste test goes viral after he slates a pricey truffle quiche – but praises a cookie as one of the best he’s ever had.

Carmie Sellitto, the 26-year-old TikToker known for reviewing luxury food, has gone viral again – this time after nearly gagging on a Harrods delicacy.

In his latest video, watched more than 780,000 times, the Londoner unboxed a £20 mystery bag from the iconic Knightsbridge food hall.

At first, the haul seemed promising: a cinnamon bun he rated 8.5/10, followed by a sandwich and a glossy cookie that scored an impressive 9.5/10.

But things took a nosedive when he tried a slice of Harrods’ wild mushroom and truffle quiche. Despite the full version costing £35 and feeding eight, Carmie was handed a single cold slice – and it didn’t go down well.

“I’ve never tried quiche in my life,” he admitted before biting in. Seconds later, he was clutching his face, visibly gagging. “That is by far one of the worst things I’ve ever tried from Harrods,” he said, rating it just 2/10.

Carmie later clarified that it might simply be down to his taste, saying: “Obviously it wouldn’t be bad if you liked quiche, but this is not it for me.”

The rest of the mystery bag fared much better. He enjoyed an egg mayo sandwich (7.5/10), an ornate cookie (“one of the best I’ve ever eaten”), and a tropical smoothie (8/10).

Fans were split on the review. Some mocked his strong reaction, pointing out that “quiche is just an egg custard with mixed fillings.” Others argued the £20 bag was a bargain for Harrods, while a few said they wouldn’t spend that much on mystery food at all.

Carmie, who has 1.2 million followers, is no stranger to sparking debate with his reviews.

Earlier this year, he compared Harrods’ fried chicken to KFC’s popcorn chicken – and surprised viewers by declaring the luxury store the winner.

This time, though, the posh quiche didn’t live up to the hype.
