Just 7ft wide, the two-bed Chatham terrace squeezes living space into 500 sqft and comes with a tiny garden.
A terraced house measuring barely 7ft across has gone on the market for £75,000 – making it one of the narrowest homes in Britain.
The two-storey property in Chatham, Kent, is only 7ft 2in wide and offers a total of just 500 sqft of floor space.

Inside, it has a 16ft 7in lounge leading into a kitchen and bathroom, plus two bedrooms – one of which is a slim 4ft 7in wide.

To the rear is a narrow, overgrown garden, adding a touch of outside space to the otherwise pocket-sized home.
The property, which requires modernisation, is conveniently close to Chatham town centre and its railway station, according to Hype Daily.
The house is being auctioned by McHugh & Co with a guide price of £75,000. Bids close on Wednesday, 17 September.

While unusual, it’s not the thinnest house in the country.
That title belongs to a former Victorian hat shop in Shepherd’s Bush, London, which measures just 5ft 5in wide.
For those not afraid of a squeeze, the Chatham terrace offers a quirky – and affordable – slice of Britain’s housing market.
