Beverland Resort in Ostbevern transforms giant 19th-century barrels into cosy beds for beer lovers.
A German hotel is giving guests the chance to sleep where their pint is brewed – in giant beer barrels converted into bedrooms.
Beverland Resort in Ostbevern has 62 themed rooms and suites, but the most in-demand are the Beer Barrel rooms, built inside authentic 19th-century barrels that were used until 1995.

Each barrel-turned-bed comes complete with duvets, pillows and sheets, surrounded by beer-inspired décor such as crate-made tables and wooden desks.
The rooms also feature modern comforts, including flatscreen TVs, Wi-Fi, massage-jet showers and hairdryers.

Prices start from just £103 (€120) per night for two people.
For families or groups, the rooms can sleep up to four, with additional beds alongside the barrel.
The hotel said: “You probably have never slept in a beer barrel – in our hotel that is possible.”
Created in collaboration with Pott’s Brewery, the quirky stay is perfect for beer enthusiasts.

And for those less keen on barrel life, the resort also offers themed rooms ranging from James Bond and Treehouse to Surfer and Cinema.
Bookings can be made directly via Beverland Resort’s website – making it a dream destination for anyone looking to combine beer culture with a truly unusual night’s sleep.
