Entrepreneur hits publishing history as Musk and Bezos get a nod during epic livestream launch.
Alex Hormozi has stormed into the record books after selling an eye-watering 2.7 million copies of his latest release, $100M Money Models, in just 24 hours – the fastest-selling non-fiction title ever recorded.
The 35-year-old entrepreneur revealed the book during a marathon seven-hour YouTube livestream, which drew in thousands of fans eager to watch what was billed as a “must-watch masterclass”.

The event marked the launch of Hormozi’s third book in his How To Make Money series, following $100M Offers and $100M Leads.
The new release promises to unpack the true reasons most businesses collapse – and, crucially, how to prevent it.
During the livestream, Hormozi paid tribute to two of the world’s most recognisable business titans. “Thanks to you all. We broke a Guinness World Record,” he said. “I had to glean and put together the pieces from tiny interviews with great entrepreneurs like Elon and Bezos.”
Hormozi, who runs Acquisition.com, explained that his mission was always bigger than the record itself. “I set a goal to put a book in the hands of every entrepreneur in America, and the Guinness World Record we broke was just a milestone on the way to that goal,” he said.
He also called out the dominance of politicians in the bestseller lists. “When I looked at the nonfiction book sales record, out of the top ten, nine of them were politicians,” he told viewers. “But entrepreneurs, we’re the ones in the arena. We make the most sacrifices. I thought, ‘one of us should have that’.”
Despite his personal success, Hormozi insisted the win belonged to the community that backed him. “This award is not mine. It’s all of ours. I couldn’t have done this without you all choosing to donate books. I want to get books into the hands of as many entrepreneurs in America as I can. And I’m not stopping until I do.”
Fans flooded the livestream with messages of support. “Congratulations,” wrote Arahome Triana, while James Campbell added, “Congratulations. Well executed launch.” One viewer, Alex Loft, jokingly asked: “How many copies did you buy yourself?”
With his record-breaking feat, Hormozi has carved out a new place in publishing history – and made sure entrepreneurs, not politicians, are front and centre in the conversation.
